SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 223-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.99 g, 1 h), Seleukeia on the Tigris, after 220. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, two monograms; to outer right and in exergue, monogram. SC 1161.4. Well struck in high relief. Light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
